About
I currently work for Universally Speaking as a Trainee Quality Engineer where i have been learning to write automation tests for games, websites and APIs using Unreal Engine, RestSharp, Selenium and Postman.
Previously I worked as a Senior QA Technician working on several consoles most recently on the Meta Quests to find, reproduce, report and regression test bugs. I would work with the project lead to help organise test plans, create test rails and communicate with the team.
I also have experience in CQA for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Family, Meta Quest, PlayStation 4 and 5 and the now defunct Stadia. Although I have not been there long, I have enjoyed my time there hunting for the bugs that break the game or break the user’s experience.
- I am a hardworking person who gets on well with people.
- I am experienced in working alone and within a team.
- I am enthusiastic, motivated and enjoy the challenges of programming, from solving problems to debugging errors.
Last year i completed studying Computer Games Development BSc (Hons), which covers all aspects of development, such as programming, animation, and 3D modelling, with a 1st. I lean towards programming as I have always enjoyed learning different programming languages.
I have always been interested in Artificial Intelligence in games which has lead to me producing a research project called, “Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Performance and Immersion” for my thesis and am currently looking to write a research paper on.
During my studies I took part in a game jam at EGX 2019, where a team of alumni and I developed and presented a game on the show floor called “Chubix”, Chess on a Rubix Cube.
I am eligible to work in the UK and currently looking for a position.
